Catalan band KM.0 continues to make its mark on the local music scene with the release of their new single, Mediterranean Life — an intimate yet powerful song that reflects on the reality of tourism along the Catalan coast.

Mediterranean Life is born from the shared experience of many people living in coastal towns. KM.0 denounces how these municipalities turn into empty stages during winter and become overcrowded in summer, stripped of their identity by seasonal tourism that often overlooks local life. With a critical yet sensitive perspective, the song becomes a sonic chronicle of the contemporary Mediterranean.

Formed by seven musicians from different parts of the region, KM.0 first emerged in 2022 with a fresh and energetic sound — a blend of pop with electronic touches and dynamic live shows. Their debut album Les coses que som (Picap, 2023), along with singles like Em quedo, Va canviant, tujahosaps.mp3, tkm.0 <3, and their latest cover releases, have positioned them as one of the most distinctive up-and-coming bands on the Catalan music scene.
