Roger Mas was born in 1975 into a family of musicians. When he was five years old, he started playing instruments, under the tutelage of his grandfather. His artistic activity (linked to the clarinet and saxophone) began when he was 12 years old. In 1994, he began to investigate the different musical expressions from around the world thanks to the experience of Luis Paniagua. In 1996, he won the Catalunya Radio Award, which marks the beginning of his career as a singer-songwriter. His music is based on three pillars: modern music, traditional music and the ancient sounds of the world.
